The age-old question, can a person really be born evil? Was
it nature or nurture that formed the creation of this ruthless psychopath, the
beast now inhabiting the abandoned railway station on the far-edged perimeter
of the village of Hallowell? For Frank Graham, it was a combination of both, a
perfect storm of internal and external factors, dual components instrumental in
forming the foundation of his warped psyche, and an almost demonic soul.
Born genetically predisposed for psychological trauma as a result of an
extremely rare though destructive hereditary condition, perhaps his destiny
truly was inescapable. His father Martin was content to pander to his son’s
every childhood whim, creating hero-worship status and ensuring absolutely no
one else could humanly compete for the boy’s affections, those actions
assisting in an unbreakable hatred for his own mother and younger sister. And
as a result, it didn’t take long for Frank Graham to show ominous signs of what
was to come.
But when his mentally unstable father is slaughtered, killed at the hands of a
marauding group of vengeful Hallowell residents, the final metamorphosis from
flesh-and-blood man to unstoppable monster truly began. And in an ironically
cruel twist of fate, it had been Frank himself who the irate grief-stricken
community had been hunting, Martin merely caught in the crossfire. And as such,
the last remaining male heir to the Graham dynasty vowed to avenge the
patriarch, anyone insane enough to cross the would-be killer’s path would be
shown no mercy…
